Understanding and Applying Knowledge of the 6 Distinct Phases of the Way of Fire that Ensure Complete and Stable Realization of One’s True Nature through the vehicle of the Body and its Nondual Energies

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

In the Oral-Practice tradition of Trika Mahāsiddha Yoga great emphasis is placed upon the practitoner’s steady progression through 6 phases of the path. Only by paying close attention to completing each stage can the sadhak be assured that they will:

1. Realize the true fruit of the Way of Fire, which is the irreversible realization of One’s  Essential Nature.

2. Have an unbroken and stable experience of their Essential Nature.

3. Avoid the obstacle of mistaking delusory spiritual experiences that mimick true  realization.

4. Come to know the difference between having powerful automatic “energetic awakenings” (prānothana skt.) of bliss, pleasure, etc. and moments of clear recognition of One’s Nature (pratyabhijña skt.).

5. Avoid the pitfall of the difficult to cure category of diseases caused by incorrect yogic practice - Prānā Disease (or - wind disease). Prāna diseases can affect sleep, mind and emotions, heart and lungs. They come on very slowly over many months and once established deeply in the tissues and organs are very hard to rectify.

Dharma Bodhi (Kol Martens)

Dharma Bodhi began practicing yoga at age seven, and in his teens moved into practices of Chan Buddhism and Daoism. He then went on to study non-dual Śaivite yoga and completed Ācārya training in 1996 under his non-dual Śaiva Guru with an emphasis in Kundalinī Hatha Yoga. Since that time he has been studying and practicing Tibetan Dzogchen meditation and yoga. Settled in Costa Rica, Dharma Bodhi and his wife, Sahajadākinī, dedicate their time to raising their family, personal practice and teaching the Oral-Practice Tradition of the Mahāsiddhas to small groups of students.
