Trikāya
Heart Essence of Enlightenment
How to Get Started in Trikāya
The advice from our ancient masters is that “The Path is the Goal”. The goal of enlightenment can seem impossible to comprehend or to attain. Because of this we are advised to focus on the Path itself as the goal. Practicing in this way is fulfilling because we always feel that we are already in the fruit of practice. There’s no “one right way” to get started in your Trikāya path of practice. Our system of practice can be entered in many different ways. We encourage you to find the way that is right for you. You may choose to attend the live online courses, cohorts or in-person retreats that pique your interest. Or study in your own pace with the pre-recorded courses. These can be found in the full course schedule. Or you may be looking for a more structured way to approach your learning in Trikāya. Both ways are fine. If you would like a more structured way of learning, then take a moment to familiarize yourself with the different ways to begin engaging with Trikāya’s teachings and practices explained below. Choose one or more staring points and begin creating your Path.
The 5 Ways to Realization
Within Trikāya there are 5 complete and unique, yet interrelated paths of practice and teachings. Each of The 5 Ways to Realization are 5 approaches to practice and the path that are capable of taking you from rank beginner in the Dharma to the ultimate experience of your own True Nature – that of Buddhahood.
